Девятилетние братья-близнецы Михаил и Алексей потеряли свой дом – они были вынуждены бежать от обстрелов в Днепропетровской области. В прошлом году они пошли в четвертый класс в совершенно новой школе, где их учителя и одноклассники видны только через экран ноутбука.
«Нам, как внутренне перемещенным лицам, пришлось адаптироваться к новому месту, ведь все наши прежние друзья теперь далеко, – говорит Наталья, мама близнецов. – Мальчикам было сложно учиться на расстоянии, без прямого общения с другими детьми. Мы столкнулись с трудностями и в математике, и в украинском языке, не говоря уже об английском. Я заметила, что им становилось все труднее решать задачи».
Теперь Михаил и Алексей наверстывают упущенное – они регулярно посещают Центр цифрового обучения, организованный Детским фондом ООН (ЮНИСЕФ) в Харьковской области. За это время они смогли улучшить свои знания по математике и украинскому языку, а также пообщаться со своими сверстниками.
«Мы любим читать сказки и стихи, – радостно говорит Алексей. – А еще решать уравнения – наша учительница Марина Владимировна все понятно объясняет».
Марина, преподаватель Центра цифрового обучения в Богодухове, с гордостью наблюдает за успехами близнецов.
«Когда они только пришли ко мне на уроки украинского языка, пробелы были очень заметны, – вспоминает она. – Мальчики путали части речи. Оба очень активны, энергичны, трудолюбивы и внимательны к окружающим. Я вижу, как они уже сами помогают другим детям в своей группе».
Благодаря финансированию Глобального партнерства в области образования проект ЮНИСЕФ в сотрудничестве с благотворительным фондом «СпивДия» помог наверстать упущенное в учебе почти 18 тысячам учеников. Большинство занятий проводится в городах, где школы работают только в онлайн-формате, что делает этот проект единственной возможностью для местных детей учиться очно. В настоящее время занятия проводятся в Волынской, Днепропетровской, Житомирской, Закарпатской, Кировоградской, Киевской, Львовской, Полтавской, Одесской, Николаевской, Сумской, Харьковской, Хмельницкой, Черкасской, Черновицкой и Черниговской областях.

It’s essential for us to be involved in our children’s learning journey and these centers provide us with the tools and guidance to do so effectively.
