По всему миру разгораются конфликты, растет поляризация, подогреваемая цифровой дезинформацией, усугубляется климатический кризис. И для решения глобальных проблем необходимо участие молодежи, ее энергия и решительность. Об этом на открытии Молодежного форума в штаб-квартире ООН в Нью-Йорке заявил глава всемирной организации Антониу Гутерриш.
«Я полностью привержен привлечению молодых людей к принятию политических решений, тому, чтобы не просто прислушиваться к вашим взглядам, но и действовать в соответствии с ними», – сказал он, обращаясь к участникам форума.
Генсек напомнил, что в сентябре в Нью-Йорке пройдет Саммит будущего и молодые люди – как представители будущего – играют важнейшую роль в подготовке к этой важнейшей международной встрече.
