Pacific Dive is located on the tropical Island of Espiritu Santo, The largest of 83 islands in Vanuatu. Home to the world famous SS President Coolidge wreck. The largest and most accessible shipwreck in the world.

Considered by many divers to be the best wreck dive in the world, the SS President Coolidge was a luxury passenger liner converted to a troop carrier during WWII. While entering the Santo harbour she was hit by friendly mines, providing divers with a remarkable underwater playground.

Almost completely intact, you can swim through the numerous holds and decks viewing the reminders of her glorious days as a cruise liner and the remnants of her days as a troop ship. There are guns, cannons, jeeps, helmets, trucks and personal supplies left by some of the soldiers, as well as the beautiful porcelain statue of “The Lady,” chandeliers and a mosaic tile fountain. The wreck is covered in coral and is the home to a plethora of sea life such including barracuda, lion fish, and a host of reef fish.
If you want to see the whole wreck, you’ll need at least 10 to 15 dives — she’s 200 metres in length and rests in 20 to 72 metres of water! — but you can certainly get a feel for her magnitude and majesty on even a few dives.

USS TUCKER

The USS Tucker is an American Destroyer made mostly of stainless steel, She is 115m in length and sank just months prior to the SS President Coolidge. Cruelly dealt the same blow as the Coolidge she struck a friendly sea mine before sinking off the coast of Malo in 16-22m of sea water. She lies on a sandy bottom with excellent visibility all year round. A very easy dive and a great choice to “Off Gas” towards the end of your trip in Espiritu Santo.

ISLAND REEF DIVING

Vanuatu is home to some of the most amazing reef dives in the world. We reguarly dive many different Islands including Tutuba, Aore, Dany, Tuvana and Aese Island. Most of these Islands have secluded golden sandy beaches, palm/coconut trees and stunning turquoise water.
Dany Island is one of our favourites and not to be missed, this is home to some of the most stunning reef dives in all of Vanuatu. This highly protected dive site ensures calm waters, little to no current and crystal clear visibility.
This dive has it all — reef fish, swim throughs, chasms, crayfish, and an abundance of spectacular hard and soft corals that seem to go on forever. Incredible visibility makes this a favourite reef dive among our divers.
It is also a photographer’s paradise!! Fields of gorgonian fan corals stand upright on an isolated reef where large schools of small bait fish including fusiliers make their home. Large Spanish dancers as well as schools of dog tooth tuna are often spotted.

MILLION DOLLAR POINT

At the end of WWII, thousands of tonnes of US military equipment was dumped into the sea. Named for its worth, there are a multitude of bulldozers, cranes, fork lifts, ships and trucks piled upon one another in this unique dive site just up the road from the famed SS President Coolidge. The mangled mess of metal is one of the most incredible and unique dives you can do, Descending down to a maximum of 40m this site is perfect for underwater photography with its always crystal clear blue water.
